A new group of LCMS missionaries begins their initial two-week training tomorrow at the International Center in St. Louis. Please pray that God would equip and strengthen us for the tasks we are about to undertake, because the work is beyond what mere human ability can accomplish. Thank God for answering the prayer our Lord Jesus directed us to pray: “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” (Mt. 9:37-38)
