Setting Up the New Office

As I mentioned in a post a few weeks ago, the LCMS has moved its East Africa Field Office a few kilometers down the road in Nairobi due to the need for increased space.  Last Friday was the official move day, but since I was traveling in Tanzania during the first part of this week (I’ll write more on that later), I have not had a chance to organize things until today. Here are some pictures of our new office as it presently looks.

Here is my desk.

I don’t exactly have an expansive view, but I’m grateful to have an exterior window!

The light paint gives the whole place a bright and modern look. My office door is the one on the right at the far end of this hallway.

This is the central meeting room, lunch room, and staff chapel. The plan is that someday, God-willing, it will also be the initial worship space for a newly planted church in Nairobi. The books temporarily stacked under the window are MTC books and other theological materials.
